Cool mist humidifier
There are two types of cool mist humidifiers (also called cold steam humidifiers):
The ultrasonic humidifier: a condenser or an ultrasonic plate transforms water into microfine mist which is then passed into the room with a fan where it immediately evaporates.
The Evaporator: evaporators are equipped with a special evaporation pad which soaks up water. A fan draws dry air through the moistened pad and recirculates it -properly humidified- back into the room. During this process the air is simultaneously washed from dust and other airborne particles.
