Our dehumidifiers operate according to the Peltier effect by thermal interchange or by using a compressor. In the Peltier effect, the air circulates between two conductive plates of different material. One of them is hot and the other one is cold. The Peltier effect creates an important differential of temperature between the two metal plates, which creates condensation on the coldest side. Once converted in water, it is collected in the tank of the dehumidifier. Less powerful than a dehumidifier with a compressor, it presents the advantages of a low energy consumption, little noise and small size. The photocatalysis function destroys odors linked to humidity and moulds. In case of powerful dehumidification, we recommend the use of a compressor dehumidifier.
